Current development processes such as Agile and DevOps pose both opportunities and challenges for User experience (UX) practitioners when creating excellent experiences. In this session we will discuss how UX can be usefully incorporated into the development lifecycle, given the short iterations and quick deliverables. We will discuss how to leverage the new processes for achieving better User experiences.
With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Talia Lavie currently leads the UX and Design of Lifecycle Management group at HPE Software. She oversees the UX and design of one of the leading applications in the HPE software portfolio. She’s currently driving innovation, UX strategy and methodology across the entire product line by pushing the next generation products in new directions.
Talia also served as a lecturer in Human-Computer-Interaction courses at Ben-Gurion University and Tel-Aviv University. As a researcher she worked on numerous research projects on behalf of companies such as GM, Deutsche Telekom at TLabs@bgu and BMW. Her research focused on topics as adaptive and personalized systems, visualization techniques, usability and web aesthetics. She published over 10 articles on those subjects.
Talia was also the co-president of the Israeli Branch of UXPA (User Experience Professional Association).
