Johannes Robier, has completed his studies in information design at the FH JOANNEUM in Graz in 2004. He was an employee in the global headquarters of Siemens Usability in Munich. He worked for „evolaris research Lab” as User Experience Analyst. After that he founded youspi Consulting GmbH which is specialised on the services Usability, Customer Experience & Service Design. He earned the Customer Experience Management Certificate which provided him with a broader look on customer specific corporate development. Since then he has been participating as a lecturer at various conferences for Usability & User Experience on a national and international level. Since 2010 he is a lecturer at the Campus02 for Usability & Service Design. In 2013 he got the Certified Professional for Usability and User Experience (CPUX) – F (2013).
Clemens Lutsch, Head of UX Strategy at Centigrade. He was UX Manager at Microsoft. He works since 1994 in the field Usability / User Experience. He manages and develops strategic User Experience in the wide Microsoft partner ecosystem. The industrial anthropologist and trainer collaborates on a number of international standards in User Experience and Usability, Clemens was also in the Board of the GermanUPA for 2 years. He is editor of ISO 9241 Ergonomics of human-system interaction — Part 161: Guidance on visual user-interface elements and member of the Certification Counsel at Fraunhofer Institute.
Craig Tomlin is a leading UX researcher and Conversion Rate Optimization consultant. He is a Certified Usability Analyst with over 25 years experience in UX research and conversion rate optimization. He has improved websites and apps for firms like AT&T, BlackBerry, Disney, IBM, Kodak, Virgin Media, Verizon, Zurich Insurance Company and many more. He is the former President of the User Experience Professional’s Association Austin chapter. Willy Lai, Director of User Experience Design, Internet and Emerging Technologies, Silicon Valley
With a career spanning over two decades, Willy Lai has led user experience design for many of the most recognized companies in technology. Most recently, Willy led design for Milk Music, Samsung’s new multi-device streaming radio app. Prior to Samsung, Willy led large-scale, global redesigns for PayPal, Intuit, eBay, AOL, and numerous start-ups in Silicon Valley. His designs are strategically aligned to meet user needs and business goals, and have garnered many industry awards. His body of work includes in-house, agency, and consulting experience across Mobile, Tablet, Wearables, TV, and Web. Willy is profiled in the 2014 Anniversary / Inspiration Issue of Design Bureau magazine.
Willy is a Design Mentor at Stanford University and teaches user experience design at UC Berkeley Extension. He has also guest lectured at Academy of Art University and UCSC Extension Silicon Valley, where he taught user experience design and serves on their Advisory Board. Willy holds a degree in Architecture from UC Berkeley’s College of Environmental Design.
