Sascha Wolter is a professional developer and user experience enthusiast. His true passion is to improve the human-computer interaction: He loves to build conversational and multimodal experiences with text (chatbots) and voice (aka Alexa). Sascha used to work as a consultant, trainer, lecturer, speaker, and author who focusses on understanding, innovation, and value. As such he is committed to the interests of all kinds of developers, users, and prosumers. When Sascha is not developing new ideas, he likes hiking and skiing in the mountains, enjoys good Italian coffee and loves to explore the world together with his kids in an odd way.
After organizing internationally renowned events like beyond tellerrand from 2001 to 2011, he is now board member of the Usability & User Experience working group at the federal association BITKOM. Furthermore, he is Google Developer Expert for IoT/Assistant (GDE)and Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP). Before he joined the Conversational AI Platform Company Cognigy as Senior UX Consultant and Principle Technology Evangelist, he worked as Senior Developer Evangelist at Deutsche Telekom (i.e. Smart Home) and Senior Technology Evangelist for Alexa at Amazon.
