Description

I’ve seen the future of UX, and it is dark. Literally. Once the default for screen design, dark UI is now experiencing a renaissance after being out of favor for decades. With macOS now featuring dark mode (along with all our other favorite apps), it’s time we revisit the usability, accessibility, and ethical issues associated with predominantly dark color schemes.

In this talk, we’ll explore the influence that FUIs (fictional UIs) and sex appeal have on modern interfaces and what we can do to create a digital future that is both sexy and usable.
