Posti has been around for 400 years, first as the nation’s governmental postal carrier, now as a postal and logistics service company. With digitalization and the evolving customer expectations changing Posti’s market landscape, how can strategic service design and the adoption of company-wide design thinking help with the major transformation ahead?
Design Lead, Posti
I’m a design culture enthusiast, who is most in his element when building and fostering happy creative teams. I’ve had the priviledge of holding several creative direction, design strategy, and design program management positions, both sides of the table, giving me a rare perspective as to how different kinds of organizations should effectively embrace design thinking in their daily operations.
Over the recent years, I’ve also roamed organizations as a nomad Cultural Change Agent, specializing in helping companies and non-profits of all sizes with the large-scale change management that needs to happen when shifting to the next gear in human-centered practices.
I believe that good design practice is built on letting your inner child flourish and be inquisitive about the everyday events around us. I want to build experiences that draw their heart and soul from real conversations with real people. I also believe in fostering open dialogue within the design community. One of the best ways to strengthen your skills and open whole new horizons is to engage in a dialogue with a fellow designer, who can teach you new viewpoints to familiar issues.
Above all, however, I believe in having fun. Enjoy yourself, and you’re halfway there. 🙂
