The actual economic situation is characterized by accelerated technological change and merging economic areas. In this situation of global competition, fast-changing markets and rapid developments lead to ever shorter product life cycles and thus to a constantly increasing pressure on companies operating in this demanding environment.
Thus, top-level executives in every company are desperately searching for possibilities to increase growth and ensure the economic survival of their organizations.
Surprisingly enough, very few top-level executives see the tremendous potential that lies in the systematic integration of UX into their company’s strategy.
In this talk, I will discuss my personal experiences in using UX as a major lever for a company’s strategy, present some examples how other companies are using UX as part of their strategy and give some advice on how to communicate the tremendous benefits of UX to a company’s top level management.
