I am a User Experience (Research) manager with almost 20 years of experience in the field. I am passionate about building up effective research organizations that scale and deliver critical user insights that help teams develop successful products that delight users. I am a trusted manager with a proven track record of career development and coaching.
I am currently leading the UX research organization for Google Cloud Platform. Before that I built and led UX research teams working on Google’s brand advertiser products and YouTube. Before joining Google, I built and managed the HCI research lab at the University of Basel.
I hold a PhD in Cognitive Psychology and published over 30 peer reviewed papers in HCI journals and conferences, covering topics such as user satisfaction, mental models in website perception, website aesthetics, and internationalization of products.
