Manager Driveability and Simulation, AVL Graz
Mr. Erik Bogner born in 1971, studied Mechanical Engineering & Economy – Vehicle Technology at Technical University of Graz. In 1998 he started his career in a R&D cooperation of Technical University and AVL Graz developing methodologies for “Objective assessment of passenger cars Handling behavior and performance”. Up from 2002 he became customer project leader for AVL’s Driveability assessment tool AVL-DRIVE, focused on vehicle attribute analyses and vehicle assessment methods development. Since 2005 he is leading the AVL-DRIVE & VSM department at AVL Graz as Manager of Driveability and Simulation, from 2005 to 2006 he lead also the foundation of Transmission Calibration department as Manager of Transmission Calibration. In total more than 15 years’ experience in vehicle development & optimization as well as in SW product development.
