Ramy Nassar

Ramy is an engineer, an artist and a maker, living in Toronto, Canada. As Architech’s Director of Service Innovation, Ramy focuses on promoting the practice of Service Design, mentoring internal teams and working with clients to create innovative & differentiated customer experiences. Working at the intersection of Service Design and the Internet of Things, he pushes the boundaries of how technology can integrate with everyday experiences.

With a background in computer engineering, Ramy has straddled technical and business-oriented roles, ranging from grassroots startups to some of Canada’s largest technology companies. He has worked on the cutting of edge of the technology & design industry for the past decade.

Ramy is the director and co-host of TEDxWaterloo, an independently organized TED event and a regular TEDx speaker, having given talks at TEDxAthens, TEDxCarthage and TEDxBeaconStreet. Ramy’s photography has been featured in a number of Canadian publications and two independent exhibitions. @ramynassar
