Dr. Verena Seibert-Giller is one of the European pioneers of Usability and User Experience, having worked in respective industrial as well as research settings for 25 years.
Currently her prime interest lies on enhancing user experience work through insights of modern cognitive sciences. “Know your brain – understand your users better”. Her work has already positively influenced several projects and trainings, while astonishing clients and attendees!
In the 90ties she co-founded the CURE Usability research centre and then the USECON consultancy and directed both until she decided to downsize work for a while for her kids. Verena shows one of the broadest experiences in the field, which is well founded in the spectrum of her past and ongoing international activities (more than 500 relevant projects in numerous domains and technologies, publications and talks, activities in committees and expert groups, development of university and industry curricula and training courses, e.g. IBUQ User Experience Certifications).
