To be a great Human Centered designer you must really understand and care about people and the human condition. When I was at Disney Imagineering we learned that Walt Disney wanted to call his customers "Guests," because he said every person should be treated special. He said "To be a great communicator you must really understand and care for the guest." This is the core of my speech. I will use case studies from my various projects showing how our love and understanding of the user helped us to create deeper more meaningful user experiences.
