Description
Don’t despair - there is hope for a bright future! The role of a user researcher has changed enormously over the past few decades. The tools we use have evolved, but so have our responsibilities, where we sit within organisations, and our influence on product and business strategy. Now, AI is transforming our profession again - potentially more profoundly than any previous technological change. But does this mean that user researchers are becoming obsolete? Quite the opposite. AI gives us an opportunity to rethink where we create the most value. In this session, we will explore how we can position ourselves to remain relevant and impactful in the age of AI. The future of user research may look different, but there is plenty of reason to be optimistic.
