Description
Masterclass, together with Sayali Bharambe In order to shape user-centered solutions, UX designers would need to align diverse stakeholders, and influence product decisions. But often, the seat at the table seems unavailable. This makes leadership skills a critical, yet frequently overlooked, part of a UX designer’s professional toolkit. This masterclass introduces leadership as a practical, learnable skill set relevant to every UX designer, regardless of title or seniority. Participants will explore what leadership means in a UX context and why skills, such as communication, ownership, decision-making, and mindset directly impact design quality, collaboration, and outcomes. Through a focused mix of short inputs, reflection, and interactive exercises, the session covers the most relevant leadership skills for UX designers today — including growth mindset and the basics of high-performing teams. Participants will reflect on their own strengths, identify development areas, and receive practical tips and exercises to strengthen their leadership skills and leadership mindset. By the end of the masterclass, participants will have a clearer understanding of how leadership shows up in UX work — and how to intentionally strengthen their ability to influence, collaborate, and create impact.
