Description
Every successful company is built on a solid business model: who the customers are, what value is being provided to them, how (and where) that value is being distributed, what it cost to deliver that value, and how much is being earned in return. As leaders of Design and Research practices, we can create a sound, impactful strategy for elevating UX Maturity by borrowing from this framework. By reframing User Experience as a Business Model, and practicing a healthy dose of service design, we can define our internal customers, value propositions, touch points, and the return on investment our Design Practice is bringing to the business. This in turn will drive influence, secure budgets, and identify leverage points for a solid UX strategy that will drive outsized business results.
