Description
We often try to solve exclusion with better UI or accessibility checklists. But exclusion is rarely just a "pixel" problem; it is a systemic failure rooted in economic, cultural, or political barriers that no interface alone can fix. In this talk, I will demonstrate why we need to evolve from "UX Designers" to "System Designers." drawing on real-world frameworks, I will walk you through the Systemic Exclusion Mapping methodology. We will explore how to visualize the invisible barriers (like the "digital divide" or "financial exclusion") that trap users long before they reach your product. You will discover how to use Root Cause Analysis (the "5 Whys") to stop treating symptoms and start addressing the real problems. This session is a call to action for strategists to widen their lens and design for the complex reality of human vulnerability.
